THE TOUR:

Code:
FT04

This is a taste of Noumea designed for cruise passengers who arrive in the afternoon. The tour highlights include the famous beach areas of Anse Vata and Bay of Lemons, on the shore of the UNESCO protected lagoon, the largest in the world, the World War II cannon aimed at the lagoon entrance and a traditional French patisserie. The tour will finish at the beach areas, where you have a choice of leaving the tour to dine at a restaurant of your choice before returning to your ship. If you choose to do this, you need to make your own way back to your ship. This tour will end back at City Terminal for those who wish to return to the ship or walk around the centre of the city.

VISIT TO NOUMEA IS
CANCELLED FOR ANY REASON
If you can't disembark in Noumea through no fault of yours, no charge will be made against your credit card and your card information will be destroyed.
WHAT IF IT RAINS

Being a sub-tropical island (on the Tropic of Capricorn), rainy days and overcase skies can happen. However, Fernando's tours don't let a little water spoil a day out. Each tour carries umbrellas and there's plenty to see and do, even in the rain.

OR DIETARY ISSUES

Just across the road from the City Terminal, where all cruise passengers are taken, regardless of which wharf your ship uses, there are ATM facilities. Look for the Casino sign just across the road from the City Terminal. Note that banks in Noumea don’t change money, but there are currency exchange booths that do, and local currency is readily and easily available through ATMs.

Should weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occur prior to the tour, an email will be sent to you with further information.

A premium is charged for Personal guided tours with Fernando.
