Here are the details of how and where you meet your Fernando Tourisme hosts to begin your tour of Noumea.
THERE ARE TWO TERMINALS
The larger cruise ships berth at the Cargo Terminal, while the smaller ships berth at the City Terminal.
If your cruise ship ties up at the Cargo Terminal, take the free shuttle bus to the City Terminal – about five minutes away. Alight at the City Terminal, walk through the coffee shop to the opposite end of the terminal and look for Fernando Tourisme minibus in the car park opposite the Casino Supermarket.

TIPS ABOUT TIMINGS
With sometimes thousands of passengers wanting to go ashore, catching shuttle buses from the Cargo Terminal can take some time.
Fernando Tourisme's advice is to purchase shuttle bus tickets as soon as you can, and try to be among the first wave of passengers to leave the ship and join the shuttle bus.
With large numbers of people disembarking, it is important to try to be on time for tours. In addition, ships don't always arrive at the same time.
This will sometimes cause delays in tour departures.
Fernando Tourisme allows half an hour for assembly time, if needed, for all booked passengers to arrive before beginning a tour. For example, if your tour is timed to begin at 8.30am, passengers should check in with Fernando Tourisme guides before shopping or changing money, and they will advise how much time you have for these things....and in this case, the tour would wait for late passengers until 9am.
